D'oh!

So if you were at the Phantom music table quiz in the Sugar Club last night, you would've seen me squirm on stage trying to remember who wrote the Simpson's theme tune for the tie breaker to end all tie breakers. I couldn't remember and the MCD team (nooooooooooooooooo) beat the Half Tribune Half Biscuit team. Nevertheless, I think we did ourselves proud, plus I won a Depeche Mode DVD, a Faithless CD and the Oasis edition of Frustration (the game). So yaysies! We practically won anyway, hopefully they'll be a rematch soon.

Before the table quiz, I had quite the delightful day. First off, had to get cheesy photo taken for the Tribune's Christmas TV pages. Quite amusing, you'll see the results this Sunday. Then I RAN down to Phantom to do my last slot on Simon's show before Christmas. Then Tadhg came a' callin' and we walked around the Christmas market in the IFSC and ate everything in the universe (mulled wine, giant hotdogs, chocolate marshmallows and strawberries, felafal (sp?)) Yumsies. Then I met the Niamh-meister in the International for a pint and then met Izzy and Elaine in the Central Hotel and then took Iz and Laney to Acapulco to meet Ro and Meadzer. Didn't have time to eat because of pending table quiz (and, obviously had eaten the universe in the IFSC) so just had a gigantic margarita (sp?) and toddled off to the Sugar Club.

Still haven't started Christmas shopping :(
