Check out this report from RTE's Brian Finn on yesterday's News at One about the first marriage license issued to a gay couple in California yesterday.
Hoorah. I myself had to leave the country to marry my girl and even though its not seen here as a legal marraige DAMN IT WE IS MARRIED! For 4 years now.....
Ahhh I teared up a wee bit watching them cut the cake. So effing sweet. Del seems well groovy too. I mean, what octogenarian you know says 'ditto' or 'right on'? A mate of mine was there and said there were protesters outside! Assholes.
I dont see the point in getting married at all gay or not, Its just a day for people who are serious attention seekers and are all about me,me,me. Friends of mine recently got married and kept asking what everyone was saying about them constantly. And generally women especially turn into bridezillas and are impossible to deal with, they get so stressed out over the smallest things. Its just not worth the hassle. Im with someone 7 years now and neither of us want to get married. You dont need a piece of paper to say you love eachother!
UnaRocks does not UPLOAD music. All music links provided are ones that already exist online, or mp3s from band and record label websites. If you are in a band / band management and wish me to remove any of these links, I will, of course, oblige. UnaRocks believes that music sharing actively enriches our musical climate. Music sharing is as old as music itself. People who download music buy more records, go to more gigs, and buy more music merchandise than those who do not. The recent phenomonan of online music sharing has been credited to the ongoing resurgance in the live music scene across our world, and the increasing successes of 'indie' or 'underground' bands. In turn, if you are in a band / band management and wish me to post a link to a song for the pleasure of the readers of UnaRocks, please do not hesitate to contact me by commenting on this blog. Peace.

If these photos don't melt the cold, self-righteous hearts of the anti-gay-marriage crowd, then I don't know what will...
No, I'm not crying...there's just something in my eye...sniff
