Then I might try and make a little bit of Kaboogie's 3rd birthday party @ Twisted Pepper because I wanna check in with my homie The Killer aka Redmonk and Burco and pick up the !k CD compilation that's free for the first 150 people in.
After that, it's Partie Monster @ RiRa. I haven't decide what I'm going to wear yet; I'm either going to go for a Pete-Doherty-killed-by-a-glitter-bomb-look or be a pair of 3-D glasses.

I did my first and last January-sans-alcohol last year. I do a month off the drink annually but found out that January really is a horrid one to pick. There's no such thing as a good month but there are less bad ones. I'll switch my detox to a more summery time instead.

I'm cutting down the amount of crap I eat, don't think I could handle anymore vices disappearing.

because
- over indulging over Xmas
- no money
- less things to do, so less temptation to booze it up
- from the end of Jan onwards, more shit starts going on so you need your party socks on
I find January is way more of a party month than people give it credit for. Like it's a broke time of year but I find I end up doing lots of sessions in gaffs as a result and house parties do rock. Easier to quit around May, probably becaue I didn't drink too much around then in the old days because of exams and stuff.
